- I could not watch "thirtysomething" or "The Wonder Years" because it was too uncomfortable. It felt like watching a train wreck. "Modern Family" affected me in the same way except for the Ed O'Neill parts. The other two couples make me twitch.

- Does anyone know if Canada has this type of ignorant focus on the untrue and unimportant? What I see in this discussion and in the Tea Party movement is scarier than anything I saw in the Vietnam era. This country is about to tear itself apart over the inconsequential.

- I too loved these books ever since the story "Gallons of Guppies" was excerpted in my grade school reader. I read them all for many years. Neither of my daughters read these, so I thought they had fallen out of favor.

- Also, where did my flyouts go? That was one of the best features of the site, as I could follow a logical tree of articles to scan for content. It was ideal for entertainment and sports, giving me quick summaries of the day without a need to see the detail.

- I have to say that the look is a little jarring. Pages are also taking longer to load. My preference would be to have a "text" only option with video links. Video content is shallow and geared toward skimmers with time on their hands.
